Work Environment

This role will be conducted onsite at a local school, integrating cardiology healthcare services into an educational setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of cardiology conditions, including but not limited to hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create customized treatment plans that address each patient's individual needs, integrating lifestyle changes and medical interventions.
• Provide evidence-based preventative care and education on heart health, nutrition, and physical activity tailored to different age groups found within the school environment.
• Monitor patient progress, utilizing advanced cardiology equipment and technology to evaluate treatment efficacy and make timely adjustments to care plans.
• Engage with patients and their families using clear and empathetic communication to educate them about cardiovascular conditions, available treatment options, and necessary lifestyle modifications.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele, including children and adolescents as well as school staff. Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), with a relevant focus on cardiology or completion of a Family Nurse Practitioner program that encompasses cardiovascular coursework.
• Possession of the Cardiology Certified Nurse Practitioner (CCNP) credential from the Cardiology Nursing Certification Board (CNBC) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a specific focus on cardiology or related fields such as internal medicine or family practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits
