Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cardiovascular assessments, including detailed health histories and physical examinations.
• Deliver personalized patient education geared towards understanding heart conditions, medication management, lifestyle adjustments, and preventive care.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting changes and ensuring treatment plans are adjusted according to individual needs.
• Participate actively in both inpatient and outpatient care settings, facilitating follow-up appointments and assisting with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cardiology, continuously integrating new knowledge and clinical practices into your patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus on managing a diverse patient population with various heart conditions, including but not limited to heart disease, hypertension, and arrhythmias. You will provide care to patients from multiple demographics, understanding the unique challenges they face and tailoring your approach to meet their individual health needs. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
• At least two years of experience working in cardiology or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The Nurse Practitioner position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $150,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience.
