Patient Access Supervisor

2+ years of Patient Access, Registration, Admissions, or Revenue Cycle experience within a hospital setting 3+ year of experience leading, supervising, mentoring, or training frontline healthcare staff Strong knowledge of patient registration, insurance verification, authorization, and financial clearance processes Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and employee coaching skills Ability to work onsite during the evening shift and actively support staff on the Emergency floor Plusses: Experience using Epic, Cerner, or another major hospital registration/EMR system Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field Day to day: The Patient Access Supervisor will lead a team of 9 Patient Access Representatives within a busy, hospital-based registration environment, ensuring efficient patient intake and exceptional customer service throughout the evening shift. This individual will serve as a visible leader on the floor, providing real-time support, coaching, and oversight to registration staff while helping resolve patient, provider, and operational issues as they arise. The supervisor will be responsible for monitoring workflow, maintaining productivity and quality standards, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and revenue cycle best practices. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, patients, and hospital leadership.
