Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized outpatient infusion nursing care to patients, administering chemotherapy and other infusions in a fast-paced clinical setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to protocols during treatments.

Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies following established guidelines and protocols.
Monitor patient responses and manage any adverse reactions promptly and effectively.
Document all clinical interactions and treatments accurately in the EPIC charting system.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth operations.
Float between assigned units and facilities as needed to support staffing and patient needs.
Uphold compliance with certifications, licensing, and institutional policies at all times.

Qualifications:

Hold an active NJ or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
Possess 1+ years of experience in outpatient infusion or oncology settings, including chemo certification.
Maintain current BLS and CHEMO certifications before start date.
Demonstrate strong clinical skills in chemotherapy administration and patient monitoring.
Ability to work day shift with 4x10-hour schedules.
Willingness to float between units and facilities based on staffing requirements.
