Hematologist-Oncologist

CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, NM, is seeking a full-time Hematologist-Oncologist to join its state-of-the-art Regional Cancer Center. Practice Info

• The Regional Cancer Center is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility.
• Multidisciplinary clinical team led by highly skilled physicians and advanced practice clinicians specializing in medical oncology, breast surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and radiation oncology.
• Leverages the EPIC/Beacon electronic medical record system across all inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Affiliate of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, providing access to Mayo's resources, research, diagnostic tools, and treatment protocols.
• Access to CHRISTUS St. Vincent's own Clinical Trials and Research portfolio, including pharma-sponsored collaborative trials and investigator-initiated research.
• Provides a wide-range of supportive care infrastructure including medical, clinical, emotional, psychological, nutritional, physical wellbeing, practical, logistical, spiritual, and holistic support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and support services
• Participate in tumor boards and clinical research initiatives
• Share in practice call responsibilities
• Utilize EPIC EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings for seamless care coordination

Compensation

• Competitive salary for full-time is $725,000 plus additional RVU-earning potential

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time employed position with flexible schedule allowing for either a 4X10 or 5X8 work week

Requirements

• 3+ years of post-training experience in hematology-oncology
• MD/DO required
• Board Cert in Medical Oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Mexico
