Heavy Equipment OperatorJoin Waste Connections as a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Landfill in Angleton, TX named Seabreeze Landfill. In this position you will be operating our Dozers, Excavators, Compactor, along with trucks and smaller equipment at our solid waste landfill.CULTURE: It's a Great place to work! Respect for ourselves grows through all the hard work and great service we provide to the communities we are privileged to serve.Job Duties:Spreading and compacting trash using a compactorSpreading daily cover using a DozerExcavating soil using an excavatorMaintaining haul roads using a graderHauling soilWork in a fast paced, team environmentFollow safe operating practicesLearn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer serviceWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
