Sit-Down Forklift Operator/Material HandlerDay Shift 6:20am - 2:20pm, Monday - Thursday; overtime as needed on Friday.Evening Shift 4pm - 2am, Monday - Thursday; overtime as needed on Friday.Qualified Sit-Down Forklift Operator/Material Handler to assist in coordinating the day-to-day activities in the shipping and receiving offices, including providing customer service to the truck drivers and the production floor. Strong organizational, teamwork, dependability, accountability, and self-starter skills will lead you to success in this role.How You Will Contribute:Complete and document a sit-down forklift inspection form before the start of the shift and when operating a new forklift.Verify counts as materials leave or enter the warehouse/production area.Work with shipping and receiving on incoming and outgoing materialsEnsure that all jobs are pulled and ready for the next shift's production runMust ensure that all materials being removed from a production line are accurately recorded on the correct form, and that all materials have been properly banded and/or wrapped to ensure that they will "hold up" in the warehouse.Performs periodic routine maintenance checks on the lifts.
