Registered Nurse - MedSurg
This is a 13-week contract position.
Nights 19:00 - 07:00, including weekdays and three weekend shifts within a four-week period.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg team. The nurse will provide exceptional care to patients on a 34-bed telemetry unit. This role requires strong clinical skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a MedSurg setting.
- Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond to patients' needs promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR.
- Lead and educate junior staff and team members.
- Participate in daily huddles and patient rounds.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years experience in MedSurg nursing.
- Active RN License (WV or Compact License required).
- Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Experience with telemetry preferred.
