Position Summary

Supervises assigned valet shifts and frontline employees to maintain safe, organized, and responsive guest service while meeting

client expectations and operational procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•  Supervise shift setup, employee deployment, breaks, rotations, and closing activities.

•  Conduct shift huddles and communicate service goals, safety reminders, event details, and special instructions.

•  Monitor greeting, ticketing, vehicle inspection, key control, parking, retrieval, and vehicle delivery procedures.

•  Maintain orderly traffic lanes and pedestrian areas; quickly address congestion or unsafe conditions.

•  Support employee training, coaching, attendance tracking, uniform compliance, and performance documentation.

•  Handle routine guest concerns and promptly escalate significant complaints, incidents, or claims.

•  Complete shift reports, vehicle counts, incident documentation, timekeeping review, and required checklists.

•  Confirm radios, scanners, tickets, signs, cones, keys, and other equipment are accounted for and functional.

•  Coordinate with cashiers and leads to reconcile tickets and support accurate transaction processing.

•  Perform valet attendant duties during peak periods or staffing shortages.

Minimum Qualifications

•  High school diploma or GED required.

•  Two or more years of valet, parking, hospitality, transportation, or event-service experience; prior lead or supervisory experience

preferred.

•  Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to meet applicable insurance requirements.

•  Clear communication, sound judgment, customer-service, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

•  Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred.

•  Basic proficiency with mobile devices, parking applications, and shift documentation.

Physical and Work Environment

•  Regularly stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in Houston heat, humidity, rain, and changing weather conditions.

•  Frequently bend, reach, enter and exit vehicles, and move quickly between the valet lane and parking areas.

•  Lift or carry up to 25 pounds; attendants and operational leaders must be able to jog or run short distances when safe and necessary.

•  Maintain the vision, hearing, coordination, and alertness required to perform assigned duties safely, with or without reasonable

accommodation.

Seasonal Schedule and Conditions of Employment

•  Seasonal, temporary assignment based on client and event needs.

•  Schedules may include early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

•  Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

•  Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all client and employer requirements, which may include driving-record

review, background screening, drug testing, training, and credential verification.
