Job Description Diesel Mechanic Pay: $28.00 Shift: 7am to 4pm M-F Location: St. Rose, LA. Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Diesel Mechanic for our client to start immediately. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul marine diesel engines and related systems Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, valve adjustments, and cooling system service Repair and maintain fuel, air, exhaust, and lubrication systems Inspect and service gearboxes, transmissions, shafts, and propulsion systems Test engines and mechanical components; read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Conduct emergency and corrective repairs to minimize vessel downtime Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Follow all marine safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Work closely with vessel crews, supervisors, and inspectors as needed Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a marine or maritime environment Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus Ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures independently Knowledge of marine safety regulations and best practices Capable of working in confined spaces, engine rooms, and varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Willing to work flexible hours, including odd shifts and overtime Must pass all employment screenings Skills Diesel engine repair, marine diesel engines, troubleshooting Oil changes, filter replacements, valve adjustments, cooling system service Fuel, air, exhaust, and lubrication system repair Gearbox, transmission, and shaft inspection and maintenance Engine testing, reading technical manuals and schematics Emergency repairs, marine safety, environmental compliance Working in confined spaces, engine room safety Hydraulic and pneumatic systems expertise Why choose Integrity Trade Services At Integrity Trade Services, we value our employees by offering a competitive weekly paycheck and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
