Summer School Elementary Social Worker

Job Title

Required Qualifications: Current Michigan Certification with appropriate endorsement CPI Endorsement

Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting ESY, Elementary Summer Learning, and Community Education programs as needed.
• Support students in developing coping strategies and social skills.
• Conduct assessments and create intervention plans for students in need.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student concerns.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and peer mediation sessions.
• Assist with crisis intervention as needed.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
• Deliver workshops or activities on topics such as self-regulation, conflict resolution, and emotional well-being.
• Encourage innovative and creative thinking in a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers regarding instructional practices.
• Arrival and dismissal supervision.

Employment is contigent on enrollment. Job Duration: July 6th - July 31 June 17th - Professional Development and Planning 9:00 - 12:00. July 6th - July 30th -- Summer School Days are 4 days per week (M-TH) Report Times: 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Salary: TBD
