Strategic Project Manager - Advanced Analytics & AI

Title: Strategic Project Manager – Advanced Analytics & AI Duration: 6 months contract with possible extension Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 2+ days/week onsite) About the Role Our client is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of AI and advanced analytics initiatives within Network Operations and Airport Operations. This is not a traditional IT Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will partner closely with senior leadership to drive execution across multiple initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure projects move from concept through implementation. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys a hands‑on role, solving problems, and driving meaningful outcomes. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of strategic AI and analytics initiatives. Coordinate across business leaders, data scientists, and technology teams. Drive project execution, identify risks, and remove roadblocks. Lead executive meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications. Prepare clear project updates and leadership presentations. Keep multiple initiatives organized and moving forward while managing competing priorities. Qualifications 8+ years of Project or Program Management experience in large enterprise environments. Proven ability to manage complex cross‑functional initiatives and senior stakeholders. Excellent communication, organization, and executive presentation skills. Experience working with Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Digital Transformation teams is strongly preferred. Comfortable working with highly technical teams without needing to be the technical expert. We're looking for someone who is A hands‑on executor who drives projects forward not just tracks them.
