Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation

Responsibilities Analyze Workers Compensation claims to determine benefits due. Manage complex workers’ compensation claims from initial investigation through final resolution. Evaluate claim exposure and develop action plans. Negotiate settlements and ensure compliance with guidelines. Establish and maintain accurate reserves throughout the life of each claim. Compute and issue benefit payments, adjustments, and settlements timely. Prepare and submit required state filings within deadlines. Oversee litigation and partner with vendors. Communicate with claimants and clients frequently. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred. NY jurisdiction and NY licensing knowledge. #J-18808-Ljbffr
