Client Care Specialist/Receptionist

Overview Join us at Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Service in Louisville, KY, as a Full-Time Client Care Specialist/Receptionist! If you’re passionate about animal well-being and love engaging with clients, this opportunity is thrilling. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client care while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our busy veterinary hospital. Responsibilities Greeting clients warmly as they enter the veterinary office. Managing incoming calls and scheduling appointments with precision. Processing patient records and providing detailed information about services. Collaborating closely with veterinarians and support staff to ensure each pet receives the attention it deserves. Handling client inquiries with empathy and professionalism, creating a comforting atmosphere during stressful situations. Working 4 ten‑hour shifts: Wednesday & Thursday 2pm – 12pm; Saturday & Sunday 8am – 6pm. Qualifications High School diploma (required). At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary office or similar medical office. Passionate about client and patient care. Experience with phone triage and multi‑extension phone systems. Dependable. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with the veterinary team. Proactive problem solver who remains calm under pressure.
