Inside Sales Manager - Austin, TX

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Inside Sales Manager to lead a laboratory sales team in Austin, driving revenue through remote and digital channels. The role involves team development, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic execution of sales initiatives across multiple product divisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage inside sales team selling advanced scientific products across multiple divisions
- Drive revenue growth through telephone, email, and digital sales channels while maintaining customer relationships
- Collaborate with field sales, marketing, and technical teams on strategic initiatives and sales targets
- Analyze sales data, implement best practices, and develop strategies to improve team performance
- Coach and mentor sales team members to support individual development and organizational values
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences plus 8 years sales experience, or Master's/PhD plus 5 years relevant experience
- Preferred background in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related scientific field
- 2+ years of people management or leadership experience
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and talent development capabilities
- Experience with consultative selling and complex sales cycles
