What You Will Be Tackling

• Performing in-depth patient evaluations, prescribing necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Managing the diagnosis and treatment of acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or alongside physicians based on networking
• Informing patients and their families about preventive measures, wellness initiatives, and disease management
• Prescribing therapeutic medications and treatments in line with your practice authority
• Engaging in patient follow-up care as well as chronic condition management
• Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to provide integrative and comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining meticulous and precise documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Education Prerequisites

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in a specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or capability to procure within 90 days)
