Work Environment\n

This position operates in a virtual environment, allowing for flexibility while still ensuring quality care. As a member of our team, you will engage in regular virtual meetings with colleagues, participate in case consultations, and maintain consistent communication with clients. While most interactions will occur online, occasional visits to the hospice center may be required to enhance care delivery. You may also need to accommodate client schedules by working evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health and psychosocial needs, ensuring these are aligned with individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family counseling sessions, adapting therapeutic techniques to suit the unique circumstances and needs of each client.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress towards treatment goals, adjusting approaches as necessary to enhance outcomes.

• Collaborate with other disciplines, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and medical staff, to form a comprehensive treatment approach for clients with co-occurring conditions.

• Deliver crisis intervention services effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to support clients during acute distress.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in alignment with HIPAA regulations and organizational protocols.

• Stay current with developments in the field of mental health, engaging in continued education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will include individuals and families dealing with mental health disorders, end-of-life issues, substance abuse, and significant life changes. Serving a range of demographics, you will be particularly sensitive to the unique needs of clients from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing grief and emotional hardship associated with chronic illness and loss.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• A valid LCSW license issued by the state of Arizona or the state in which you are practicing.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
