Job TitleCandidate Responsibilities:Make sure the switchboard is open and operating promptly at 8:00 a.m., throughout the day until 5:00 p.m. Relief coverage will be provided for a one-hour lunch, as well as morning and afternoon breaksGreets visitors in a professional friendly and hospitable mannerEnsures visitors sign in, receives a visitor badge and notifies appropriate staff to escort visitors beyond the lobby areaProfessionally answers incoming callsEnsures calls are redirected to the appropriate staff or transfer call to voice mail when appropriateReceives and sorts incoming mail and faxes for pick-upKeeps front desk manual up-to-date detailing receptionist proceduresPerforms other routine clerical functions as directedEducation and Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or GEDMinimum of one year administrative experienceExperience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Special Abilities and/or Requirements:Excellent phone etiquetteExcellent verbal communication skillsPunctualAble to work with minimum supervisionShould be customer service drivenAble to multi-task
