Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a rewarding contract role supporting student success in a welcoming educational environment. This onsite opportunity is ideal for an OT passionate about empowering school-aged children to reach their highest potential through targeted interventions and collaborative care. The position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours, primarily working with elementary students and occasional coverage at a neighboring high school.

Your workday is structured from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, fostering consistent routines while allowing you to make a measurable impact from now through May 28, 2027. You’ll collaborate with school staff to provide assessments, interventions, and support tailored to each student’s unique needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license/certificate (must be submitted with your application)
• Previous experience providing OT services in educational settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting
• Strong communication abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Capacity to adapt interventions for diverse learning, mobility, and sensory needs

Your Role Includes:

• Delivering individualized and group OT services in classrooms and one-on-one settings
• Partnering with teachers and staff to integrate therapy recommendations into academic plans
• Evaluating students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive needs
• Documenting interventions, progress notes, and recommendations in compliance with school standards
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student support plans
