Forklift Operator

Our client, a local manufacturing company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: North Tonawanda, NY

Pay Range: $22/hr

Shift: 2nd and 3rd shifts, Monday through Friday with mandatory OT

What's the Job?

Operate industrial forklift to load and unload trucks according to customer requirements
Keep accurate records of shipped and received materials
Inspect forklift daily to ensure safety features are operational
Participate in cross-training efforts and share duties with other drivers
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and equipment

What's Needed?

High School diploma or G.E.D.
Valid driver's license
Previous forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus but not required
Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions in English
Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and operate forklift in various conditions
