Facility Technician II
Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking a Facility Technician II to add to the team. The Facility Technician II for La Porte TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This position will wear C level PPE and work with the pumping team to pump drums. Will work in QC for chemicals, operating forklifts, manual labor, and inventory.
Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm. Monday-Friday. Overtime and Saturdays as needed
Pay: $21 DOE

Responsibilities
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Load and unload route trucks
- Wear level C PPE
- Manual labor of drum washing
- Pumping drums
- Working with chemical profiles to identify matches to tankers
- Uses forklifts routinely to sort pallets and unload
- Uses camlock and hardlines to connect/disconnect tankers
- Manage inventory order and receiving process
- General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area
- Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner
- Resolve issues with materials in conjunction with office team staff
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in C Level PPE preferred
- Experience working with chemical profiles preferred
- Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc
- 2+ plus years of related labor and computer experience
- Ability to drive trucks within facility
- Forklift skills preferred- or willing to learn
