RN - Mother-Baby / Post Partum

Seasonal Travel RN - Postpartum - Wichita, KS

Join our close-knit team on a busy postpartum unit, where we deliver high-quality care to high-risk patients. This role requires a proactive nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment, supporting new mothers and their infants during the postpartum period.

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7PM - 7AM

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient vitals and condition.
• Provide breastfeeding support and education to new mothers.
• Manage postpartum hemorrhage and other complications.
• Assist with circumcision procedures as needed.
• Administer POC Glucose monitoring and hypertension assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care Postpartum hospital experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
• Experience with high-risk postpartum cases and Level 2 Nursery is a plus.
