Intergovernmental Affairs Specialist

Intergovernmental Affairs Specialist As a key member of Booz Allen’s team dedicated to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA‑H), you will leverage your expertise to conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government‑funded research and development programs. You will support the development of high‑impact health solutions, provide strategic assessments of emerging technologies to senior ARPA‑H decision makers, and facilitate the commercialization of successful technologies. Your role will involve managing current programs and ensuring effective collaboration with federal agencies. What You’ll Work On Build and maintain relationships with key points of contact. Collaborate with ARPA‑H program managers and contacts to support program development and ongoing program activities. Collaborate with ARPA‑H’s Office of Commercialization (OC) to ensure program managers are supported with regulatory consultants. Assist IGA Specialists in identifying key programs and key points of contact within U.S. government agencies and programs in relation to ARPA‑H programs and mission. Capture data into the Intergovernmental tracking system; create and maintain a dashboard of interagency engagements and programs. Draft reports on ARPA‑H engagement or on potential opportunities as required. Create presentations tailored to agency divisions, and support outreach and scheduling with agency contacts as needed. You Have 3+ years of experience supporting the FDA. Experience with contracts, research, and management tracking tools. Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Attention to detail, diplomatic communication, and flexibility to juggle multiple projects. Bachelor’s degree. Nice If You Have 2+ years of experience in an ARPA agency such as DARPA, ARPA‑E, or BARDA. Experience engaging a broad range of stakeholders, including government officials and senior partners. Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and prioritization skills to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Compensation Salary range: $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The projected compensation range reflects a typical salary for this position and is part of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
