Warehouse Worker: 2nd ShiftCleveland - Glenwillow, OH 44139OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift SwingWarehouse Supervisor- 2nd ShiftThe Warehouse Supervisor at Superior Beverage will have the opportunity to lead and develop a functional group of associates as a part of the overall Operations team. With a focus on safety, efficiency and operational excellence this Supervisor will lead by example and provide the necessary guidance and tools to enable daily execution of processes and procedures. This manager will be responsible for a team of 20-40 associates in a 500,000 square foot distribution center.Warehouse Supervisor Shift:Monday through Friday 2nd ShiftStart time from 2- Until Production Finish (hiring manager will explain further upon interview)Warehouse Supervisor Benefits:Paid training and career developmentOn-site workout facilityVacation time, personal days, and paid holidaysCompany EventsMedical/Dental/VisionHSAPrescription drug coverage401(k)QualificationsWarehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:Leads a team of associates in a fast-paced, time-bound daily operationTakes a proactive approach to process improvement in an effort to increase efficiency and profitabilityMaintaining a working relationship with all other departments and effectively communicate opportunities for improvementEnsures that all associates adhere to company policies, procedures and guidelines with the ability to coach, counsel and discipline as necessaryManages and maximizes staffing on a daily basis within budget parametersOversees proper treatment of damaged and out-of-date product based on standardsInstills proper handling of the warehouse and all warehouse equipment with a focus on cleanliness and preventative maintenanceConforms to all OSHA standardsMaintains certification to operate material handling equipmentWarehouse Supervisor Skills / Qualifications Preferred:Bachelors Degree with focus on Operations/Logistics, Business or Management or equivalent work experience5+ years Warehouse and Operations experience3+ years Management/Supervisor experienceFamiliarity with automated warehouse systems a plusRF experience / knowledgeDesire to learn, grow, compete and be successful everydayStrong communication, organizational and leadership skillsProficient PC skills including Excel, Word, Gmail and other apps in the gmail suite, etc.Ability to operate or learn to operate various types of material handling equipmentWarehouse Supervisor Physical Requirements:Lift and move material 40lbs+, continuouslyStanding and walking for up to 8 10 hours a dayAscending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation at elevated heights (10 30ft)Bending, stretching and reaching both below the waist and overhead
