Overview Responsible to prepare and deliver Advanced Manufacturing coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline‑appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success, respect for multicultural, an understanding of culturally responsive teaching, and knowledge of the teaching field. Responsibilities Prepare and teach courses in Advanced Manufacturing to a multicultural student population based on approved learning outcomes, using a variety of instructional strategies. Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback reflecting program learning outcomes and departmental expectations. Provide teaching and mentoring services to students in a non‑discriminatory manner. Remain current in the field through professional development activities. Perform other related tasks as assigned by department chair, dean, or higher administration. Demonstrate proficiency using computer applications, online resources, and technologies for the classroom, including a learning management system such as Blackboard. Meet deadlines for attendance certification and submission of final course grades. Maintain regular office hours to assist students and improve retention. Recognize and reflect standards of civility and collegiality in all interactions. Comply with published college policies and procedures and meet professional standards for teaching. Appropriate use of the college’s learning management system. Qualifications Educational requirements in accordance with SACSCOC accreditation standards (see Faculty Credentials at At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
