As a Carpenter in Friendswood, TX, you will be responsible for the layout, installation, repair, finishing, and maintenance of various structures, fixtures, and buildings. You will also assist in designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to client specifications.

Skills: - Ability to read and interpret blueprints. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Knowledge of mathematics. - Good hand-eye coordination. - Familiarity with operating tools, machines, and equipment. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints accurately. - Assist supervisors in structural design, planning, layout, and installation. - Repair and install doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures. - Assess the quality of woodwork and materials. - Operate tools, machines, and equipment effectively. - Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations. - Provide excellent customer service. - Physical agility to stand, climb, lift heavy objects as needed. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or a minimum of 4 years of experience as a journey-level carpenter. - Good communication skills. - Additional certification may be required.
