Lead Registered Nurse

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Lead Registered Nurse in Houston, Texas! This role is on site / in person. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Three-month contract, opportunity for extension or full time offer
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Pay: $45.30 to $47.30 an hour

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

• Coordinate patient care plans across providers, departments, and services.

• Perform clinical triage via phone, EMR messaging, or in person.

• Review labs, imaging, and clinical results and escalate appropriately.

• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure preop requirements are met.

• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow up care.

• Manage referrals and authorizations (especially in outpatient settings).

• Document all clinical interactions in the EMR accurately and timely.

• Serve as primary point of contact between patient, family, and care team.

• Monitor patient progress and intervene when care gaps appear.

• Support quality improvement initiatives within the department.

• Other duties may be assigned as required

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:

• Associates degree

• Active and good standing RN license in Texas

• Three plus years of RN experience

• Care coordination or case management experience (1+ year preferred)

• Strong clinical triage skills
