Assistant Principal

Overview The Assistant Principal for General Studies supports the overall academic and operational functions of the school by assisting with student management, curriculum oversight, faculty support, and parent communication. This role works collaboratively with administration, teachers, students, and families to maintain a positive and productive educational environment. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor and support student decorum, behavior, and adherence to school policies and expectations.
- Assist in the management, implementation, and evaluation of the general studies curriculum.
- Meet regularly with teachers to provide guidance, support, and instructional feedback.
- Oversee and assist with the preparation, review, and distribution of report cards and academic records.
- Communicate and meet with parents regarding student academic progress, behavioral concerns, and school-related matters.
- Support daily school operations and administrative initiatives as assigned.
- Foster a positive school culture that promotes academic excellence, accountability, and student success.
- Prior educational leadership or teaching experience required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, students, and families.
