Regional Medical Director

A large physician-led medical group is seeking a Regional Medical Director for a full-time leadership position based in Los Angeles or Irvine, California . This is a non-clinical role focused on: ✔ Population Health ✔ Utilization Management ✔ Quality Improvement ✔ Physician Engagement ✔ Value-Based Care Initiatives ✔ Collaboration with Hospitals, Health Plans, and Operational Leadership Prior Medical Director experience is welcomed but not required . We are particularly interested in physicians who have been exposed to managed care, physician leadership, utilization review, quality programs, hospital committees, IPA/HMO environments, or population health initiatives and are interested in transitioning into a dedicated leadership role. Requirements: • Active California medical license • Board Certification • 5+ years of clinical experience • Managed care or value-based care exposure preferred • Strong communication and leadership skills This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking to move from clinical practice into a senior physician leadership position with a highly respected organization.
