Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor Schedule: 3 12‑hour shifts 7a‑7p with every other weekend. What you’ll do: Escalate issues to Clinical Manager. Function as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within departments. Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs. Prioritize and organize workflows for the shift. Directly manage Clinical Services team members while on shift, which includes but is not limited to: Managing early call‑ins, early departures, call‑offs, sharing of resources, breaks, and lunches for team members. Assigning team member responsibilities per shift. Addressing process or employee issues during the shift. Communicating schedule changes, performance concerns, and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely. Serving as the first‑level responder to client concerns and drug escalations. Training and mentoring new team members. Provide input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations. Participate in on‑call responsibilities. Participate in management or administrative meetings routinely. Who you are: Strong communication skills. Prior veterinary experience required; previous emergency experience desired. Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant‑rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.). Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary.
