Our therapists provide care in a variety of settings.Pay Range: $28.46-$39.88 per hour based on experience and qualificationsWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, no weekendsResponsibilities include:Providing therapeutic treatments according to the patient's plan of careHelping patients improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and independenceGuiding patients through therapeutic exercises and activitiesMonitoring patient progress and response to treatmentCommunicating patient needs and progress with the Physical Therapist and healthcare teamDeveloping positive relationships with patients and their familiesWorking collaboratively with other healthcare professionalsMaintaining accurate and timely documentationWe are looking for someone who is:A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programLicensed or eligible for licensure as a PTA in ColoradoCPR/BLS certified or willing to obtain certificationCompassionate and patient-focusedDependable and professionalA strong communicatorA team player who enjoys working with othersInterested in making a difference in a rural communityMinimum Required Education/Experience: Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Hold a current, unrestricted Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant license.Pre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:Ability to maintain an efficient work schedule with a high level of productivity.Ability to utilize problem-solving skills to work with patients, families, staff members and other team members to aid in providing high quality care.Ability to operate general office equipment including computer software applications (e-mail, surveillance equipment/cameras).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Possesses advanced active listening skills, including seeking clarification when in doubt and requesting feedback when needed.Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees and administration.Note: An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted.Necessary Special Requirements: Must obtain annual flu and Covid-19 vaccination and any job-specific immunizations.
