We're seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support a client with the day-to-day operations of a busy HR department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, data entry, recordkeeping, and ensuring employee information is organized and accurate. Opportunities are available supporting either HR data administration or employee benefits administration.

What You'll Do

HR Data Entry & Records Management

• Maintain and update employee information within HR systems
• Process employee onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and status changes
• Perform HRIS data entry and maintenance
• Track and maintain electronic and paper employee records
• Ensure all personnel documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed
• Assist with new hire administration and onboarding paperwork

Documentation & Administrative Support

• Assemble and review new hire packets
• Maintain employee files and filing systems
• Create and edit letters, memos, reports, and employee communications
• Format and distribute internal documents and departmental communications
• Support the day-to-day administrative functions of the Human Resources department

Benefits Administration Support

• Assist with administration of employee benefit programs including medical, dental, and vision plans
• Process enrollments, terminations, status changes, and open enrollment activities
• Track employee benefit eligibility
• Maintain benefit records and documentation
• Ensure confidentiality of employee information and compliance with privacy requirements
• Work with vendors and online systems to process benefit transactions

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of administrative, office support, HR, or related experience preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and file management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong follow-up and time management skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
