Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls while leading the accounting team and supporting sound financial decision-making.

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or an equivalent discipline
• Has 5+ years of experience overseeing and developing finance, accounting, or administrative teams
• Has strong hands-on experience with financial, operational, and compliance audit procedures
• Has experience successfully completing major projects such as ERP implementations, compliance audits, M&A, integrations, or public offerings
• Has experience with financial planning and analysis
• Has proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
• Has excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Has advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel, as well as accounting software and databases
• Has experience with cost accounting

What you'll do:

• Oversee daily accounting functions and ensure accurate, timely processing
• Develop and implement financial management, budgeting, and accounting goals, policies, procedures, and best practices
• Lead, train, develop, and evaluate accounting staff
• Assign work, manage performance, support employee development, and resolve personnel issues
• Supervise and participate in the preparation of financial statements, reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses
• Review and reconcile general ledger entries and maintain accurate accounting records
• Prepare cash balance reports and identify opportunities for improved cash management
• Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, and company reporting processes
• Direct internal audits and evaluate accounting and administrative controls
• Establish internal controls for new financial systems and improve existing processes
• Coordinate materials for external audits and financial reporting
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are organized and maintained
• Partner with internal teams and third parties to resolve accounting-related matters
• Monitor financial trends, budgets, forecasts, and operational performance
• Ensure financial and accounting practices align with GAAP and applicable reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational processes
• Support financial accounting objectives and provide recommendations to management
• Maintain fiscal files, historical records, and documentation for financial transactions
