What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic:

You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities may include:

• Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery
• Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
• Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies

What you need to be successful:

High school education, GED, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification required. A&P License is required. Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required. Experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance. A minimum of 3 years' experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance
