Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse Birthing Center

Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts: 2 shifts of 12 hours and 2 shifts of 8 hours per week on average. Flexibility required for scheduling, including a minimum of every other weekend.

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of LDRP experience
• Epic experience within the past 2 years
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Ability to float to med-surg and ED units as required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and infants.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation available bi-weekly on Mondays.
• Reliable transportation is required as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
• All work history must be complete and gaps over 90 days explained.
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
