Night Shift Registered Nurse Opportunity

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse looking to grow your skills in a supportive, community-centered hospital? Our busy Medical/Surgical Unit at Porter Medical Center is welcoming night shift RNs who are passionate about exceptional patient care and eager to expand their clinical experience.

Although we're nestled in the picturesque New England town of Middlebury, VT, Porter offers high-acuity, fast-paced hospital nursing that keeps your skills sharp and your nights meaningful. Our Med/Surg unit cares for medical, surgical, chronic, and progressive care patients, giving you the opportunity to practice a broad range of nursing skills.

We're also home to a top-tier Birthing Center, averaging nearly 400 births each year, and our close-knit team environment means you'll always feel supported, appreciated, and empowered to grow.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current RN or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
BLS required; ACLS required for specific departments
At least 1 year of hospital RN experience

About the Position

This is a night shift Registered Nurse role on our vibrant Med/Surg Unit, perfect for nurses who thrive in a dynamic hospital setting and want to broaden their expertise while making a meaningful impact in our community.

On-call: Not required.

Incentives: Generous Incentives

$10,000 sign on bonus for full time external applicants, prorated for part time roles. Additional terms and conditions apply.
$5/hour Night Shift Differential
$2/hour Weekend Differential
$6,000 Relocation Bonus for relocating RNs

This is a bargaining union position.
