Full stack Engineer (LATAM)

Job Title

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development:
• Develop user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Implement state management and data-fetching using libraries like Redux Toolkit, MobX, Apollo Client, Tanstack Query, Jotai, etc.
• Create and maintain custom hooks and reusable components.
• Configure build tools such as Vite or Webpack.
• Manage dependencies using package managers like PNPM and Yarn.
• Backend Development:
• Develop and maintain server-side applications using NodeJS.
• Write and manage GraphQL queries, mutations, and schemas using Apollo Server.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs based on feature requirements.
• Utilize SQL compliant ORM or builders like KnexJS, Drizzle ORM, TypeORM, or Sequelize.
• Implement JWT Authentication and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Security and Best Practices:
• Ensure API security by following best practices and OWASP guidelines.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and manage Docker and nginx for deployment.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication skills to discuss product and engineering challenges with stakeholders.
• Involve in epic planning for upcoming quarters and sprints.
• Mentor and support junior developers.
• Bonus Skills:
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Frontend:
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Experience with UI libraries such as Redux Toolkit, MobX, Apollo Client, Tanstack Query, Jotai.
• Advanced understanding of React concepts like Refs, ForwardRefs, and custom hooks.
• Ability to create reusable components from a base component library.
• Experience with build tools (Vite, Webpack) and package managers (PNPM, Yarn).
• Backend:
• Strong knowledge of NodeJS.
• Experience with GraphQL (queries, mutations, schemas) and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in Apollo Server.
• Experience with SQL compliant ORM or builders (KnexJS, Drizzle ORM, TypeORM, Sequelize).
• Knowledge of best security practices and implementation of JWT and RBAC.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Docker and nginx configuration.
• Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
