Join Our Team as an Inpatient Gastroenterology Hospitalist

We are currently seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Inpatient Gastroenterology Hospitalist to become part of our established team in Fort Wayne, Indiana .

Role Overview

Shift Options: Choose between a 7 on / 7 off schedule or a 14 on / 14 off schedule, totaling 26 weeks per year for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE).
Work Schedule: Monday through Sunday.
Night Call Coverage: Typically 1 in 3 during your shift, with an inpatient nocturnist APP handling first call.
Consultation Focus: Provide GI inpatient services exclusively.
Hospital Coverage: Daytime responsibilities at one hospital, with two hospitals covered at night.
Support Team: Benefit from the assistance of 2 APPs and 2 RN physician extenders who manage consults, coordinate endoscopy, and handle follow-ups.
Efficient Workflow: Designed for physicians to quickly evaluate and treat patients.
Compensation: Enjoy a highly competitive salary package with earning potential approaching $700,000 annually.
