Job Summary Join our amazing IR Team at Wentworth‑Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. Full-time day position, Monday through Friday, no weekends or call. Sign‑on bonus $20,000. Minimum pay rate $39.09, increases with experience. Responsibilities Conduct various diagnostic imaging procedures, including angiography, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and vascular procedures. Prepare the patient for procedures, explain the process, and position the patient appropriately for optimal imaging results. Operate specialized imaging equipment to capture images of the patient’s internal structures. Ensure that equipment is functioning correctly, make adjustments as necessary, and maintain a sterile and safe environment. Work closely with radiologists, cardiologists, and other physicians during procedures. Ensure patient safety during procedures by monitoring vital signs, responding to patient discomfort or emergencies, and maintaining a sterile environment. Patient Care Requirement Yes. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Licenses and Credentials NH Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License required; Registered Technologist (ARRT‑R) required; BLS required. Experience 0‑1 year preferred in imaging techniques such as X-rays, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, particularly related to cardiovascular and interventional radiology systems. Proficiency in X-rays, fluoroscopy, ultrasound imaging techniques. Skilled in operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment. Understanding of radiation safety principles and protocols. Strong patient care skills, including effective communication and emotional support. Skilled in critical thinking and problem solving.
