We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Janitorial Operations Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of 12 commercial client accounts (including education, medical, manufacturing, and Class A spaces) in the Winston-Salem area. In this high-visibility, dynamic role, you’ll serve as the primary leader managing operations, driving customer satisfaction, mentoring Operations Supervisors, and supporting a team of 35–40 dedicated employees. Job Summary Pay: Competitive Base Salary + 5% Annual Bonus. What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities You will lead employee teams, partner directly with clients, and ensure high operational quality across commercial, educational, and medical facilities. Portfolio Leadership: Act as the primary leader and Facilities Operations Manager for client accounts, delivering top-tier customer service and building strong client partnerships. Team Development & Mentorship: Direct and mentor operational supervisors and frontline employees; conduct quality inspections and provide constructive feedback and training. Administrative & Tech Operations: Oversee scheduling, daily digital timesheets, and supply ordering across your accounts using modern software tools (Dayforce & Coupa). Operations & Quality Control: Perform regular site visits to audit quality, improve safety standards, and ensure client expectations are consistently met. What You Bring To The Team Proven supervisory or management experience in service, operations, or customer-facing environments. Prior experience as a Cleaning Operations Manager, account manager, or supervisory lead in janitorial or facility management is preferred (internal candidates and stepping-stone account managers welcome!). Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for building positive relationships with employees and clients. Comfortable using technology for scheduling, payroll auditing, and inventory tracking.
