Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role is focused on providing specialized respiratory care within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Perform Adult Critical Care, including extubation and intubation assistance
• Manage nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning
• Collect sputum specimens and manage tracheostomy care
• Administer support via hand-held, T-piece, trach collar, bag and mask, ET tube, HFNC
• Utilize BiPAP and CPAP and troubleshoot high-pressure alarms
• Wean patients from mechanical ventilation

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Current BLS, RRT certifications
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Familiarity with Allscripts charting system preferred
• Adept in adult critical care and emergency department skills
