• 53-bed Emergency Department
• Level I Trauma Center
• Admission Rate: 22%
• Academic teaching site with 8 Emergency Medicine residents per year
• Established 3-year Emergency Medicine residency program
• EMS Fellowship program
• 8-hour shifts with 4856 hours of Physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage

Youll practice in a high-acuity academic environment supported by residents, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams. About the Facility:

Dell Seton Medical Center is the only Level I Trauma Center serving Central Texas and the fourth-busiest Emergency Department in Texas. Opened in 2017, the hospital is a Certified Stroke Center, Magnet-designated facility, and the primary teaching hospital for Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. The facility also serves as a critical safety-net hospital for the regions underserved population.
