Shape Flight-Critical Precision with Regal RexnordStep into a climate-controlled aerospace facility where your second shift begins at 2:00 pm and wraps at 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday. During your first weeks, you may train on first shift (6:00 am–2:00 pm) to get familiar with our processes, people, and machines. If you take pride in microns, live by blueprints, and enjoy the rhythm of a well-tuned grinder, this is where your work helps aircraft fly.A day in the lifeYou’ll begin by reviewing process sheets and tooling instructions, then selecting and setting up the right machine for the job—CNC or manual, ID, OD, centerless, or face. You’ll dial in tooling, compute feeds, speeds, and machining times, and carefully stage the work so that every move contributes to a flawless finish.Set up, adjust, and run CNC or manual grinders to perform OD/ID, boring, and facing operations on precision mechanical components.Switch confidently between at least two different grinding machine types within the department (CNC, Manual, ID, OD, Centerless, Face).Enter production data into the ERP system and complete all required documentation.Use gauges and precision instruments to verify dimensions; set and confirm preset gauges are calibrated correctly.Inspect your own output against specifications and, when needed, verify work produced by other operators.Compute key variables such as dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and cycle times; operate multiple machines when required.Leverage hand tools and manual machines as needed; uphold safety and housekeeping standards; perform other related duties as assigned.What you’ll bringAt least 6 months of hands-on experience setting up and operating precision grinding machines.High school diploma or equivalent experience.Comfort with basic math used in shop calculations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions in English.Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift; moderate physical effort to set tooling, adjust machines, and inspect parts.Rewards and benefitsHourly pay based on experience and skills: $24.00–$33.00 per hour.$2/hour premium for 2nd & 3rd shift starting on day one, plus a $4,000 sign-on bonus.Matching 401(k) contribution.Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance.Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance.Flexible Spending Accounts (Medical and Dependent Care) and Health Savings Accounts.Critical Illness and Accident insurance, Life insurance, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Educational reimbursement to support your growth.Our trajectoryRegal Rexnord’s Aerospace & Defense team is ascending quickly.
