Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics (Float Pool)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Every Other Weekend | 1 Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a busy pediatric hospital float pool, with willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
• Deliver care across multiple units including the ED and ICU settings
• Perform ventilator management utilizing equipment such as V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow
• Conduct triage and support Level I Trauma care as required
• Document clinical care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Participate in FM-Intermediate/Advanced respiratory procedures and PICU-level patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional License — license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with proof of certification
• Copy of diploma or associate degree from an accredited RRT program
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA Only) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience required; PICU experience required
• Pediatric experience required; EPIC charting experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel/contract assignment experience preferred
• Familiarity with facility compliance processes and ability to meet strict onboarding timelines
• Associate degree or higher; bachelor's degree preferred but not required
