Occupational Therapist

1 LEGACY HCR is looking for outstanding OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS who are licensed to practice in Oregon. Compensation We offer highly competitive wages depending on experience, performance, and training, ranging from 83k-105k annually. Job Description Provides differential diagnosis for patients with functional disorders, including writing reports to contracted facility and patients’ physician. Tests and evaluates patients’ physical and mental abilities and analyzes medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals. Establishes and carries out treatment programs based on diagnostic information to meet the patient’s activities of daily living needs. Assists the patient, family, and appropriate restorative personnel to obtain information relative to the specific disorders in the rehabilitation setting to facilitate recovery. Interacts regularly with other members of the rehabilitation team and nursing staff on the patient’s treatment plan, progress, and prognosis. Maintains good rapport with all significant administrative and restorative nursing personnel in all facilities in their area. Assures that all required written documentation is completed and appropriately placed on a timely basis. Submits logs and all billing information on a timely basis. Reports any problem areas within each facility to the appropriate supervisor immediately. Complies with the State Licensing Board. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Occupational Therapy or a related degree plus 5 years of experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Occupational Therapy or a related degree with no experience. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist for the State of California.
