Registered Nurse (RN) - PAA and PACU Schedule Available Shifts: 6a-6p, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays, call requirements per unit needs 9a-9p, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays, call requirements per unit needs Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for planning, providing, and directing patient care and education, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders. The nurse acts as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families, while collaborating with other healthcare members. The position requires floating between PAA and PACU based on need. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients. Establish and communicate an individualized collaborative plan of care. Implement and evaluate the plan of care based on identified patient goals. Complete all documentation according to established standards. Assess patient readiness to learn and implement individualized education plans. Participate in departmental initiatives and committee activities. Provide age-appropriate care for the specific population served. Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and professional standards. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing. Previous experience in the nursing area preferred.
