Hourly Shift Manager at McDonald’s About the Role Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities Plan and prepare for each shift. Monitor performance during the shift and take corrective action. Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards for quality, safety, security, and profitability. Communicate with the incoming Shift Manager to facilitate a smooth transition. Assist departments in meeting their goals and targets. Oversee Food Safety, Internal Communication, Inventory Management, Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness, Crew Management, Quality Food Production, Exceptional Customer Service, Safety and Security, Scheduling, and Training. Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team player with a flexible schedule. Passion for working in a fast‑paced environment and ability to have fun on the job. Must be 18 years or older.
