Automotive Parts ManagerO’Neill’s Chevrolet – Avon, ConnecticutO’Neill’s Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department. We are looking for a hands-on manager with strong automotive parts experience and a proven ability to manage inventory, control expenses, and support a busy service operation.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager looking for a stable position with a five-day work week, no weekends, and no holidays.ResponsibilitiesManage all day-to-day Parts Department operationsMaintain appropriate parts inventory levels and availabilityMonitor inventory aging, obsolescence, and special-order partsManage ordering, receiving, returns, and manufacturer programsMaintain accurate inventory counts and controlsMonitor department gross profit, expenses, and overall performanceWork closely with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the parts needed to complete repairs efficientlyManage wholesale and retail parts activitySupervise and support Parts Department employeesMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient departmentQualificationsAutomotive parts management and inventory management experience requiredGM/Chevrolet dealership parts experience is preferred, but not requiredStrong understanding of dealership parts operations and inventory controlsGood organizational and communication skillsAbility to lead employees and work effectively with Service and Sales departmentsComfortable working with dealership management systems and manufacturer parts programsScheduleFive-day work week – Monday through FridayNo weekends.
