TactStaff Education is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a therapeutic day school in Northern Illinois beginning in October 2026. This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working closely with students who benefit from a structured, supportive, and individualized educational environment.

  Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families
  
  
• 
  Provide direct and consultative OT services based on student needs and IEP goals
  
  
• 
  Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, functional, and participation-related needs
  
  
• 
  Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, documentation, and IEP-related responsibilities as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  
  
• 
  Current Illinois OT license
  
  
• 
  School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  
  
• 
  Experience working with students with disabilities or in therapeutic settings is a plus
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and collaboration skills
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
