Overview Registered Nurse – ER in Newport, Oregon. This travel assignment begins 07/20/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,164 to $2,234 with guaranteed 36 hours. Rotating shift (every other weekend) in a hospital setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay: 2,164–2,234 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating (every other weekend) Start date: 07/20/2026 Setting: Hospital ER Responsibilities Provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of needs, from non-critical to emergent, including critical cardiac and trauma cases. Conduct initial assessments, triage, continuous monitoring, and timely documentation of patient status and care plans. Administer prescribed medications, establish and maintain IV access, perform wound care, and assist with procedures as required. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to coordinate orders, interventions, and patient flow. Respond to rapid changes in patient condition, participate in resuscitation efforts, and support mental health care as needed. Ensure patient safety, accurate charting in the electronic health record, and effective communication with patients and families. Requirements Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required. ACLS, TNCC, and PALS required. CEN preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced ER setting within a hospital environment.
